When I told you the other day how hubby and I “bump butts” when we’re both in the bathroom/closet (due to its small size), I was reminded of one of my favorite cartoons. The song from this cartoon pops into my head ALL.THE.TIME!
So I thought I’d find the cartoon and share it with you all, and maybe we’ll all be singing “Pick it up, put it in the bag, bump bump!”
Although I always remember it as “First you pick it up, put it in the bag, bump bump”, here are the official lyrics:
TV networks, if you’re listening, we want more like this! Less (none?) of the wanna-be-a-pop-star-and-look-like-I’m-25 stuff.
Think Duck Tales, Marvin the Martian, the Roadrunner, Goofy & friends, Chip and Dale, Care Bears, Fraggle Rock, My Little Pony, Pound Puppies, and David the Gnome. And for the older kids, how about Full House? Or Saved by the Bell? Where are the modern versions of these great, classic pre-teen and teen shows (I mean versions that don’t show the main character as a “secret pop star” in tons of makeup and skimpy outfits?) Ok, I’m off my soapbox!

My coworkers and I were talking about Shera, Princess of Power last week. I think they should bring that one back! I forgot about David the Gnome- that was a good one too!

I want to see Bewitched, Mr. Ed, 7th Heaven and The Great Space Coaster! Showing my age there…I know. Lol!! Oh yeah, did I mention the 6 Million Dollar Man/Woman, and the original Night Ruder….or The Odd Couple @ who could forget Get Smart!!
