The 50 degree drop in temps last week and several nights in the mid-teens brought the bright fall foliage show to an end. My car read 82 degrees this afternoon. It's currently 36 with severe rain, lightning and hail, expected to turn into snow by morning. The pots are bundled up, hopefully to ride out the weather and look pretty for a few more weeks...

This Pink Champagne clematis is at it again! This is now its third wave of blooms, each time before dying completely back to the ground. Just when I don't expect anything...
