It’s Gonna Be a Busy One

THIS WEEKEND:

1. Take up carpet, pad, and hardwood – carpet to be adopted at noon on Saturday
2. Remove living room, pantry, and front closet baseboards
3. Remove laundry, bathroom baseboards
4. Take up laminate and hopefully get it picked up by its new owners (who are being slackers and not getting back to me….)

1. Rent dolly
2. Move appliances for Installation Day 1
3. Remove toilet (first time doing this – wish us luck)
4. Paint behind appliances.

NEXT WEEK:

Flooring Installation Day 1 on Monday!

1. Reinstall bathroom and laundry baseboards (since they’re already painted)
2. Paint baseboards that go behind fridge and reinstall
3. Move appliances back. 
4. Reinstall Toilet. 
5. Move furniture for Installation Day 2.

Flooring Installation Day 2 on Tuesday!!

1. Move furniture back

New dishwasher arrives on  Weds!!!

1. Install dishwasher (and load it up and test it out with the pile of dirty dishes which will inevitably be in the sink)
2. ENJOY THE BRAND NEW FLOOR!

SOMETIME IN NEXT WEEK OR TWO:

1. Paint kitchen/dining/living room baseboards while they’re off, and replace a few damaged ones. 
2. Reinstall baseboards.

Whew.  I’ll try to remember to take some pictures 🙂
